Carrera GT Middle Console

The Porsche Carrera GT, considered the last analog supercar, equipped with a six-speed manual transmission and a ceramic clutch that tames over 600 hp from a V10 engine. A true legend in the auto industry and the holy grail for many petrolheads. The lightweight concept is visible all over this vehicle, from the carbon monocoque to wheels made from magnesium to the interior. Its center console is dominated by magnesium, an ideal lightweight material, and the Carrera GT's wooden shift knob pays homage to the famous Porsche 917 from the 1970s.

One of the greatest German rally drivers of all time was involved in its development, and we were there from the first prototypes of the interior to the delivery of the production center console. We delivered 1270 production center consoles made of magnesium to the Porsche plant in Leipzig, where the Carrera GT was built by hand from 2003 to 2006.

Ideenion is proud to have been involved in the development of this legendary sports car. Literally every Carrera GT ever built contains a small part of our passion.
