Audi AICON Concept

Audi AICON Concept is Audi´s interpretation of an autonomous future - with no steering wheel or pedals. This technology demonstrator combines innovations including the drivetrain, suspension, digitalization and sustainability in a visionary concept and was presented during IAA International Frankfurt Motorshow in 2017.

Ideenion has contributed decisively in the concept car engineering and manufacturing of the interior which appears to be particularly wide when the two front seats are slid all the way back. An innovative two-seat bench is integrated into the rear panel which is also moving to the rear when not needed. The front seats can slide up to 500 millimeters back and forth between the forward and rear positions. The seats don’t slide on rails, but on a platform covered in high-pile carpet that can be moved longitudinally - one of the many innovations that are elaborated and visualized in the AICON´s interior.
